GUIDO M. PICHINI

PRESIDENT/CEO 

 

Mr. Pichini is the President/CEO of Security Guards Inc., and its subsidiaries, WSK and Associates Consulting Group, and Vigilant Security Services, Inc.  He is a licensed Private Investigator in the States of Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, and is a member of the National Association of Professional Investigators, and the National Association of Chiefs of Police.  Mr. Pichini graduated from Kutztown University with a BS Degree in Education/Political Science, and completed graduate studies at Kutztown University in Public Administration.  He graduated from the Pennsylvania State Police Municipal Police Training, was employed as a Municipal Police Sergeant, and as a County Detective for the Berks County District Attorney’s Office.  Mr. Pichini attended numerous courses in criminal investigation, attended the A.T.F. Bomb School, and various Secret Service Executive Protection Courses.  During his tenure in law enforcement he received three commendations.  He is a Certified Evidence Technician, Police Instructor, and Lethal Weapons Instructor.  In 1983 he was named to Who’s Who in American Law Enforcement.  He is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security, and served as the Chapter Chairman in 1992.  That year the Chapter was given the I.B. Hale Award as the outstanding chapter in the United States.  Mr. Pichini is a member of the American College of Forensic Examiners International, and is ACFEI Certified in Homeland Security Level III.  He is also the team leader for ACFEI in Homeland Security covering the Philadelphia, Allentown, and Reading Regions.  Mr. Pichini served on the Security and Law Enforcement Advisory Board for Reading Area Community College, and serves on the Criminal Justice Advisory Board for the Berks Technical Institute.  In 1997, Mr. Pichini was appointed by Governor Ridge, re-appointed by Governor Schweiker in 2002, and re-appointed by Governor Rendell in 2007 to the Council of Trustees of Kutztown University, on which he served as Chairman.  He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Kutztown University Foundation, and is President of the Pennsylvania Association of Councils of Trustees.  In 2005, Mr. Pichini was appointed by Governor Rendell and confirmed by the senate as a Governor of the PA State System of Higher Education, which governs the fourteen PA State Universities. He is married and resides in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania.

CRAIG HUNTSINGER

SECURITY TECHNOLOGY/CONSULTANT

Mr. Huntsinger is a retired lieutenant and director of training with the Reading Fire Department.  Craig was responsible for the fire and EMS training of over 175 career firefighters, paramedics, and volunteer firefighters. With over 30 years of fire and EMS service, Craig has a vast knowledge of fire fighting instruction, as well as CPR/First Aid.  He is certified under Act 235, Pennsylvania’s Lethal Weapons Training Act and is currently an EMT.  In addition, Craig is a Pennsylvania State Certified Fire Instructor, Instructor at Reading Area Community College and Bucks County Community College.  Craig also has over ten years experience in loss prevention and asset protection last serving at Cabela’s “The World’s Foremost Outfitter.” 

KEITH A. FISTER

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE/CONSULTANT

Mr. Fister is a retired police sergeant from the City of Reading Police, serving 17 years in Criminal Investigations and a total of 21 years with the Department.  He is also a retired Chief County Detective from the Berks County District Attorney’s Office, where he supervised 35 Detectives and served 12 years in the County Detective Bureau.  As Chief of Detectives he supervised various types of investigation, including but not limited to Thefts, Assaults, Burglaries, Rapes and Related Offenses, Frauds, White Collar Crimes, and Homicides.  He also has 17 years experience in loss prevention and asset protection in the private sector.  Mr. Fister is a graduate of the FBI Inter-county Detective School and U.S. Department of Justice, Dignitary Protection Operations Training.  He is a Founding Member of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and is certified under Act 235, Pennsylvania’s Lethal Weapons Training Act. 

TERRY K. WAGNER

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE/CONSULTANT

Terry K. Wagner is a retired police officer with the Reading Bureau of Police. He served 23 years and served as patrolman for 4 Years. He was then promoted to the Vice Control Division where he served for 8 years. During his time in the Vice Division he was chosen to go to Hazardous Devices School in Huntsville, Alabama. On return from Hazardous Devices School, he started the Reading Police Bomb Squad and was responsible for all explosives incidents in the Berks County area. While still head of the bomb squad, Terry was transferred to the Criminal Investigations Division where he was lead investigator on many high profile cases. In 1981 he was assigned to do all fire investigations and served as de-facto fire marshal due to the retirement of the city fire marshal.. In January of 1985, Terry was assigned lead investigator on the YMCA arson in Reading which took the lives of three persons including a Reading firefighter. His investigation culminated in the arrest and conviction of a person for three counts of murder in the 1st degree. At the sentencing, Judge Albert Stallone stated that the case was one of the most thoroughly investigated cases he had ever seen and that the police had all bases covered. Also during his tenure as head of The Reading Police Bomb Squad, Terry defused 25 live devices including a bomb that was placed in the rear of the Victor Emmanuel Society in Reading consisting of 8 sticks of dynamite. After retirement from the Reading Bureau of Police, Terry was employed with Selective Insurance Company of America. He served as unit investigator with Selective doing various insurance fraud cases. In 1997 he was promoted to Senior Investigator and transferred to corporate headquarters in Branchville, N.J. As Senior Investigator, Terry worked with the claims department vice president.  One of Terry’s cases was the Atlanta abortion clinic bombing in which Eric Rudolph was eventually caught. In this case, Terry worked closely with ATF and Federal Marshals to protect the scene of the bombing and to analyze just what occurred. In 2003, Terry retired from Selective due to the constant travel and joined Security Guards, Inc.

THOMAS R. WEAVER

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE/CONSULTANT

Mr. Weaver is a retired police sergeant from the West Reading Police Department, serving 26 years with the Department.  He is a graduate of the Penn State Criminal Justice Program and the Pennsylvania State Police Municipal Training Academy.  He is an Air Force veteran and Past President of the Schuylkill Valley Chapter of the American Society of Industrial Security. 

WILLIAM S. FIELD

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE/CONSULTANT

Mr. Field has an extensive business background, having owned and operated several businesses.  He is involved in assisting in personnel operations, office administration, and client representation, and is retired from the County of Berks.  He is a former Captain of the Shillington Fire Department and is a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Arson Investigators.

GEORGE J. TAYLOR

PERSONNEL DIRECTOR

Mr. Taylor worked for 32 years as the Personnel, Safety and Security Manager for a local manufacturer.  He was for 11 years as a Police Officer and Crime Prevention Officer for the Wyomissing Hills Police Department.  He later worked as a Crime Prevention Police Liaison Officer for the West Reading Police Department.  He is a member of both Berks County's and Pennsylvania’s  Crime Prevention Officers’ Associations, the American Society of Industrial Security, and an Associate Member of the Berks County Fraternal Order of Police. 

MARK ALLEN

MANAGER OF SCHEDULING

Mr. Allen has held various positions with Security Guards, Inc. since 1979, including road supervisor, scheduling supervisor, and senior supervisor.  Mr. Allen has an extensive background in security, and has provided executive protection and escort services to various corporate and performing arts clients.  He is certified under Act 235, Pennsylvania’s Lethal Weapons Training Act.  He has an Associate Degree in Police Administration from Harrisburg Area Community College, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Law and Society from Penn State University.
